According to WABetaInfo in a future update to the WhatsApp Desktop beta, WhatsApp intends to enhance chat list management by adding a new feature that allows users to pick numerous talks. According to a report WhatsApp is now testing a feature that will allow users to pick many chats at once and carry out specific operations while using the web version of the programme. Currently, only the Android and iOS apps of WhatsApp allow users to pick several chats. Multiple chats can be chosen, marked as read or unread, archived, or deleted with a single command. You can mute a conversation or label them all as read or unread when you choose a particular conversation. If you use WhatsApp Desktop, you’ve surely seen that doing those tasks for several conversations may be rather difficult. However, WhatsApp hopes to make it simpler in the future with the help of this functionality. You can report messages and contacts to WhatsApp if you believe they violate their Terms of Service. The last five messages in the conversation are transferred to WhatsApp when you report a contact, but you can also select to report only certain texts. What can you do, though, if something communicated via status updates is against their Terms of Service? Currently, WhatsApp is working on a fix for this issue by supporting a status report feature for a subsequent edition of WhatsApp Desktop beta. A new menu within the status section will have an option for reporting status updates. With the help of this feature, you will finally be able to alert the moderation staff if you come across any questionable status updates that might be in violation of their Terms of Service. The status update will be sent to WhatsApp for moderation purposes so they can determine whether there has been a violation, as is the case with reporting messages.
