As per the company the new feature is currently being experimented and would be helpful in scheduling tweets. Initially, it will be accessible to a limited number of users as the feature is under testing mode and will be available to the general public in the coming months. In order to schedule a tweet, the user needs to first simply write a tweet. Then they need to click the three dots button beside the emoji button at the bottom bar. Then schedule the tweet as per your preference, at what time you want it to be tweeted. Currently, this feature will be available via web browser Tweetdeck or through the third-party app like buffer. Until now there is no information if this feature will be accessible on iOS or Twitter apps on smartphones. If you are an early beta user then you will be able to make use of this new feature via twitter.com. As the wider rollout will take place after a few months. “Tweet scheduling on https://twitter.com ? Yes please! Starting today, we’re experimenting with bringing one of @TweetDeck’s handiest time-saving features into Twitter. Tell us what you think if you’re part of the experiment.” The tweet reads as it explains how the feature will work via a small video attached. The feature is similar to the Facebook wall status scheduling feature. If Twitter brings this new feature it would be quite helpful in scheduling some important announcements or product launches. Companies and business’s will be the first one to take up this feature as it has been most awaited since quite some time now.
