The latest Android Pie update has the firmware version A920FXXU1BSC5, and it brings the Android security patch for February. Other features include fixes and patches over the previous Android version. There is also a possibility that it would bring the Samsung One UI with the update. Although the update is out, it hasn’t been mentioned by the company if it is a beta update or a stable final update for the Poland Galaxy A9 (2018) users. The update was spotted by SamMobile. The Galaxy A9 (2018) has become the last smartphone in the Galaxy A-series to receive the Android Pie update. We should add that Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) has already received the Android Pie update with One UI along with the Galaxy A7 (2018). Even Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) received the Android Pie update earlier in March 2019.

To recall, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was launched in November last year and it sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED Infinity Display. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with 128GB of storage. It has a quad-camera setup which includes a 24MP primary sensor paired with a 10MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. The front of the device houses a 32MP selfie camera. Earlier in February, the company had slashed the price of Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) by Rs 3,000. After the price cut, the smartphone sold for Rs 33,990 instead of its original price of Rs 36,990.
