The 18GB with 512GB storage variant on the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate costs Rs 79,999. Storm White will be available in a matte finish on the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. The gaming smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in India via the e-commerce website Flipkart at 12 noon from December 26. To recall the smartphone was introduced alongside Asus ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5 Pro but somehow the company changed its mind and only the regular variant was made available for purchase.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,448 pixels of resolution. The display also offers a 20.4:9 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness and comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The gaming phone runs ROG UI and ZenUI custom interfaces based on Android 11. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with an Adreno 660 GPU. There is a unique rear monochrome display PMOLED display on ROG Phone 5 Ultimate that matches the premium frosted back glass and unique Storm White colour, it displays customizable animations for system alerts and status For imaging, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX686 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. In addition to this, there is a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel macro lens. Upfront there is a 24-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. In addition to this, the phone comes with a thermal design from Asus called GameCool 5 for better temperature control. There is an ultrasonic AirTrigger 5 on the shoulder of the device, rear dual triggers, and Motion Control gesture inputs; with up to 10 Motion Control gesture inputs that can be accessed alongside the AirTrigger 5 triggers.
