The new offer is named, ‘Five States, One Rate’ and it will be applicable starting from today; i.e. 11th June 2015. As part of this offer, Aircel customers in southern India will incur no incoming call charges while outgoing calls will be charged at 1 paise/second for both local and STD calls. Commenting on the launch of this offer, Anupam Vasudev, chief marketing officer, Aircel, said, “The five states -witness a huge amount of business and leisure travelling and given the porous borders between these states, we did not want our customers to restrict themselves in any manner while using our services.”
